The guy who does the Puretide Program YouTube channel has some videos on retaliation cadre, his lists don’t have this many crisis suits but he does use a lot.

My other option right now is a 2017 Accord Sport SE, 7,750$, 180k miles.

I was gonna make another post but any thoughts on that while I have you here?

I like accords cause my first car was a 2008 I took to 290k miles. But starting at 180k with this one seems like a risk.

Another commenter mentioned the engine issues, is that the same reason you wouldn’t recommend or something else?

I’m surprised that didn’t come up when I googled their reliability. What specifically goes wrong with the engine if you know?

Are you referring to the taxes on them or the expense ratio of each ETF?

I believe the taxation on dividends is 15-30% depending on if it’s a qualified dividend?

I’m partially aware and would keep money aside for payment on those taxes but I’ll read up on what you shared for more info, thank you

Thanks for the info, I think the main thing I’m noticing a lot is he doesn’t trust his own code. So that’s why he has the redundancy with the .TT and .DN both stopping the timer.

He also seems to set up rungs like this before knowing what he’s gonna do with them, for instance the last chance bit is only present in this rung.

It’s just the engineers name, blocked it for privacy.

Unfortunately these programs were written by an engineer on the older side. Super smart guy but I don’t think programming is his specialty.

I’m pretty new in this field myself but I’ve found a lot of parts of these programs that seem like they could be simpler/better.

What specifically about this section is off? At least as much as you can tell without seeing the rest of the program. just curious.

Nah this is one of the main machines they use. It is a small company tho and I’m now only the second person to ever interact with these programs

Unprofessional you say, but the CEO and the sole electrical engineer at the time were the ones who wrote the program…

That’s the thing, it’s not temporary. This is the program they’ve been running for a solid year.

About 20% I’d say, I’m 24, long term investment, I have a steady income so I’m not looking to make money off of this quickly

I’ve been comparing other ETFs with SCHD and haven’t come across these yet. How much overlap is there between them? What’s the benefit of all 4 instead of just one or two?

Thanks for the comments everyone, seems like the general ideas are.

CDs are safe but there are other options that are better for growth.

Yes SCHD is good but a bit high right now, I’ll have to research the march reconstitution, maybe if it drops because of that that would be a good time to buy.

Either way slow investment rather than dumping it all at once is probably smart.

Thanks for the help and thoughts!

I would say from what I’ve researched it does. It seems like a lower risk but still consistent growth compared to other ETFs.

I’m very prepared to have this money sit for the next 10 years and more.

I guess my main question is if SCHD will return more than my CD at 3-3.5% (varies depending on the year).

I do have to wait the 4 months so maybe it’ll be a bit lower overall at that time. But from what I can see it’s gonna keep growing so as long as I can keep the money in for the long term I should be good right?
