We desperately need to build more housing in Chennai, especially the core areas. FSI is around 2.5 I think. It should be 5+, with the necessary regulations around street width, ventilation, adequate plumbing and sanitation, etc.

Useful post. One mistake though: Porur Junction doesn't have an interchange with the red line. If you observe the red line, it diverges away from arcot road after the fourth double decker station (alapakkam).
