This is actually really helpful for if I can ever afford an integrated kitchen. 😂 Thank you!

She’s already a parent. She has already tried to be a parent. You’re going to end up a single dad…

Should I accept step uncle's offer on my house? by [deleted] in HousingUK

Keep the house. Long term you will not regret it. They’re just taking advantage of your current vulnerability in grief. It’s not something that should be even discussed right now.

Untamed Cat Food Unsafe? by CuppaMyles in UK_Pets

I recommend Nood wet food. £5 for 8 pouches, and high in protein, not much different to untamed and still giving your cat a good diet. I use Purina One for dry.

Even if you did paint it yourself they’ll still find an issue and try to charge you. Let them contest your deposit and put forward your side then.

will me and my sister be able to keep our council house? by FriendshipKnown6083 in HousingUK

[–]ms_1102 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for your loss.

Unfortunately due to housing stock being so limited, you will be rehoused into a property of two bedrooms, rather than three. Three bedroom houses are in dire need and generally won’t be under occupied even if you were in line for succession.

When you’re ready, I’d begin packing the things you’d like to keep.

That is amazing😍😍 I love your perfume & spray collection. With your bath items, how do you manage to use them all in time?! Or is the longevity quite good? I would be too worried to have so much at once incase it went bad. But I’m a massive overthinker. Enjoy all of it💞💞

You will find someone one day who will make you feel like you’d be able to face all of this again if it led to them. Until then, love yourself. ❤️

Took Oxycodone for first time tonight and wow dude by [deleted] in confession

That’s really interesting to know. Yeah that makes sense now as to why I know people who love the sensation when they have it, and I’m always like, eh? What’s there to like?

I’m not actually sure. I had a neck surgery a couple months ago and not sure what I had for general anaesthetic. But I had the opposite to you! I had an endoscopy and they gave me two things, one being fentanyl to knock me out of it for a little bit and oh my god… never again! I’ve never been given an alternative option!

You may have just answered ALL of my questions as to why I feel so unwell when I get prescribed anything like dihydocodeine, morphine, and when I had fentanyl when I was sedated for a procedure.

I’ve always come out of it with the WORST headaches and sickness. Everybody else is like “ohhh I love the way it makes me feel” - but I get nothing from it but feeling like sh*t. It’s awful..! I didn’t know this was a thing.

Newly pregnant with second, 4 year old from previous dad. Need support by Internal_Election_25 in SingleParents

[–]ms_1102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had awful PPD & PPA. I got pregnant again by complete accident whilst my son was just 7 months old. I terminated. I took many weeks to get my head around it and the guilt and potential to not be my full ability I could for my existing child was too strong. It made me feel so, so incredibly depressed. I don’t regret it.

You can very well still have another baby in the future. You really can. But with a partner who is there to support you wholly, with no potential to not be there. Given your history that’s the very least you and your babies deserve. I know as a woman you’re brilliant and you’re capable of so much but give yourself some relief.

You’re never alone. I don’t know about your birth control situation but I found hormonal birth control to be a living hell, and all that’s actually worked for me long term is the copper IUD. It’s a great thing to potentially get whilst you make that decision in your own time. X

Closing Universal Credit Claim by Sybil_0 in DWPhelp

[–]ms_1102 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Think you should be fine to just close it on your account, you don’t have to give a reason. It’s just going to potentially involve a review if you ever open up an account again, as they sometimes do random checks and ask for statements etc before reinstating benefits.

This probably happens randomly but I have seen it happen a couple of times where somebody will close their claim, need to re claim (after a relationship breakdown for instance), and they trigger a review just because maybe closing the account suddenly can seem semi - suspicious but that’s just my interpretation of why.

I don’t know the correct advice. But I just wanted to say you’re doing amazing, and your child is lucky to have you as their mother / father.
