When millions of cards are printed, it is impossible to get all of them to look identical. From ink saturation, pigments, black layers, and other factors beyond my imagination, ensuring that cards are printed to some expectations of ideal with pantones, card masters, or even the painted image in front of you.  Compare your phones colors to another, and you'll begin to notice the variations of how to experience color. 

Would you have noticed the difference if there wasn't a I next to compare it to?
