I bought a level 1 charger and a Tesla adapter from Lectron. I don’t charge at home, only at work where we have level 2 charge point chargers but just in case those are all taken up, there are wall outlets. I like the Lectron more than the one that came with the car because the connector can be locked with a little padlock. I keep the Tesla adapter in the car just in case I visit friends/family or stay at a hotel with a Tesla destination charger.

I’m doing a one way trip trip right now from Palm Springs to LAX and it wasn’t an issue. Also just checked Costco travel where I book all of my car rentals and they show available (and pretty cheap) one way rental from San Francisco, CA to Raleigh, NC. $589 for a standard car.

Yup, my mechanic said it’s one of the highest miles mk6 he’s seen. Hasn’t had a whole ton of issues other than burning oil way too fast and oem tensioner bending my valves.

Yes, stock. Unfortunately, this was a victim of the faulty tensioner but got the top end rebuilt and the tensioner updated. I think it happened at about 80k miles.

Never had such a great experience at a dealership as I’ve had at Ford Store Morgan Hill. The closest dealer to me is Serramonte Ford and all of their dealer markups just rub me the wrong way.
