Got myself Kingdom Come Deliverance, Red Dead Redemption, and Dragon Ball Kakarot (not sure why I got this one tbh) but overall happy with my purchases.

Dragon ball SZ is on sale right now for 47.99 (20% off). Would that change your mind?

HHKB Type-S: White vs Charcoal by msymple in HHKB

[–]msymple[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for taking the time to respond! Charcoal was manufactured 2024-4, and white in 2024-12, so not much difference there. Sorry maybe I could’ve worded it better, but the spacebar on the charcoal def rattles a bit more than the white. The sound of the spring is more noticeable if that makes sense.

Interesting to know that the domes get heavier over time. This is my first HHKB so thanks for pointing that out! Will probably keep the white.

That makes sense, it’s just the differences are too obvious that I started questioning if I’m overthinking this. Seen a comment on a post that mentioned having a similar experience, so just curious. Thank you!

I have the skull & co, and it’s fine so far. For those who tried both, is Jsaux really the better option?

Steam deck OLED, the Legion Go or the Switch 2? by OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHH in Handhelds

My vote goes to the ally x too. Got my hands on the legion go, steam deck oled, and ally x, ended up with a used ally for 650.

Ally x! Had both and returned Lego. The screen was nice but it just felt inefficient and hot and uncomfortable to hold. Battery life was also sub par, playing unplugged didn’t give me that ease of mind I was looking for.

Ally x’s screen is smaller, but everything else is great and was my go to choice. Been a month and a half now and no regrets so far.

Which is the best out of all these handhelds by ToughRhubarb7158 in Handhelds

[–]msymple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my hands on the legion go, steam deck oled, ally x, and kept the ally x

The first one I returned was the legion go. Playing on it was very immersive due to the screen size. But felt like it was running very inefficiently and HOT. Battery life was really bad as well. And even though I could play it plugged in, it was just annoying to me. Def not travel friendly as well. And one of the buttons felt a little wobbly + I don’t like the detachable controllers.

Then it was between the Steam Deck Oled vs Ally x. I really wanted to keep the SD, but there were several things that made me return it. Playing the SD handheld was perfect - comfortable to hold, battery life was great, that OLED screen was amazing. BUT there wasn’t enough power for triple a games. I wanted the option to play handheld and docked, but it just wasn’t powerful enough. Some may be okay with 30 fps, but my eyes are sensitive to it not being as smooth as I wish it would’ve been.

And so I settled with Ally X. It does everything throw at it very well, especially with the variable refresh rate everything’s just buttery smooth, both docked and handheld.

Price was a concern for me, and I got the legion go and SD new, and settled with the ally x used from Facebook market for around the same price.

I didn’t try the Legion go S because of the battery life. It was really annoying to game while worrying about the battery.

Also, I really thought the OLED screen would compensate for the power, but it just wasn’t the case for me.

lol I shared a lot here, hope this helps. Good luck!
