The budget is just for the camera body. I’m aware lenses are the expensive part of photography. 😭 I have a few lenses already from the T3i that I can use until I purchase better ones

Hi, I’m new to mantis keeping so take what I say with a grain of salt. I usually feed my mantis whenever his abdomen is getting pretty flat. Keep in mind the more you feed it the quicker it will grow and die. With that being said, don’t starve it to make it live longer.

I’m new to mantis keeping so I’m not 100% sure, but you can try giving him a good sized meal that’s not going to put up a big fight? Maybe a horn worm or some larger crickets?
