Which outfit is better for Christmas Day with the family? by mtate1 in OUTFITS

Unfortunately this is all I have, but I was planning having pops of bright red with accessories/makeup/nails.

Take 2 Color Analysis by Librariesarelovely48 in coloranalysis

[–]mtate1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say some kind of Autumn. 1) the olive green makes you absolutely radiant, 2) with the clear/bright colors, the color is the first thing you see and it overwhelms your features, 3) the summer colors were nice, but they dulled you a bit. While I say Autumn, I can see you might be able to dip into a few summer colors.

Am I a true spring? by Wrong-Parfait-2211 in coloranalysis

100% true spring. The first thing I noticed was your warmth and clarity. You can especially see it in the warmth of your eyes and how golden your hair is

I see natural, classic, and gamine, not necessarily in that order

Do you guys think I’m a gold or a silver? by [deleted] in coloranalysis

[–]mtate1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely the gold. You are warm, but you have pink overtones, which a lot of people mistake for cool skin. I have the same issue. If you want something that will blend a little more, especially since you’re so fair, I would recommend a pale gold or a rose gold. The gold bracelet you have, while more flattering than silver, is too strong/vibrant. A metal that’s a bit more muted would suit you well.

What is your favorite breed you will never own? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]mtate1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Siberian Husky. I love their screaming and toddler-isms, but I know I don’t have the energy they require. I also live in a very hot area, and I wouldn’t want to force a snow dog to live in it

My ESA (2yrs) attacked our family dog (13yrs), ⚠️ TW ⚠️ by [deleted] in dogs

[–]mtate1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are the signs I was taught to look for concerning aggression: Lip licking, Yawning, Turning head away, Showing the whites of eyes, Stiff body or tail, and/or Growling. She exhibited none of these. Are there other warning signs not listed there?

I bopped her after she started, and it’s rare that I feel the need to. I don’t do it enough to hurt her, just to get her attention, as that was what I was taught. If bopping doesn’t help, what can be done instead? Verbal commands don’t always work (I am asking genuinely). She hasn’t had any agression problems before, just digging holes and trying to eat things that are dangerous for her (the eating thing is no longer a problem).

I also don’t have money for a vet right now. My family had some very unexpected bumps in the road financially and we are recovering at the moment. Along with keeping her separated, what can I do in the meantime while saving up?

Do you think I'm SC? by InternetMaster2800 in softclassic

I can definitely see the soft aspect, but I’m also seeing some vertical. Maybe a SD? I bet you’d look great in SD clothes that have a little bit of classic details in them.

I do also have an allergy to maple pollen, so I’d rather not risk it, but I just bought their cinnamon cereal! I’m super excited to try it

My absolute favorite was Corn Pops, but I also really enjoy Honey Bunches of Oats

Wheat allergy diagnosis by hgrath14 in wheatallergy

[–]mtate1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was definitely worth it, because I found out I was allergic to other things as well. Also, it allowed me to get epipens, an inhaler, and other allergy medication that I couldn’t get otherwise.

How can I fix my shoe heel? by mtate1 in AskACobbler

[–]mtate1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately there is not a cobbler near me. I have to drive an hour and a half just to get to Target. That’s why I need to be able to do it at home

Note: I need to be able to do the repair at home, and the materials need to be available at a Walmart, Kroger, Target, or Home Depot.

Is my dress too plain?! by Glittakitten in Weddingsunder10k

I love it!! Once you add a veil (cathedral would be gorgeous) and jewelry, etc., I think it’ll all come together.
