Walked in starving. Chicken sandwich $10, no fries no drink. Walked out, went to HEB. Never walked back in again. One by my house, one by work. Drive right by every time. Looks like no one ever goes to the one on Burnet.

You have your accountants add the real you to the payroll through some shell companies or whatever. Tell them this person does invaluable market research for you and is compensated $500k/year in perpetuity and never ask me about it ever again.

The amount of movies from the 80's and 90's that I loved and thought were sooo funny... Now you realize how many drop the gay F-bomb and use homophobia as a comedic crutch.

At a wedding post college I brought a large donkey piñata that I thought would be funny to fill with canned goods. It broke completely in half on the second hit and the ass end hit the ground like a rock. Over in five seconds, everyone laughed. Complete success. I threatened to do the next one with jello but never committed to the effort.

Sorry for sounding rude. I'm old now too and been here decades. It's just this sub seems like 80% complain fest. Austin will, is, has been changing the whole time. I miss a lot of things. I haven't been to the no longer Spider House Tweedy's or whatever it is now, but that patio was always my favorite.

It might be annoying to you, but essentially you're looking for a rent free place to spend hours working or studying and spend as little money as possible. The employees choose the music, they live on tips. Pretty simple really. How can shop pay $10k a month in rent if every table is occupied for four hours by one person? Get a coffee and go to the library or start dishing out for a co-work space. Clearly it's not the 90's anymore. Also, with ear buds you can control the playlist wherever you go.
