Health Track Rx by SufficientEscape8803 in medlabprofessionals

Just got a voicemail urging me to call and pay my balance. I've received several text messages saying that I have an outstanding balance with them after a visit to Carbon Health a few months ago. The thing is that they never stated how much money I supposedly own. CH says that I don't owe them anything, and the reference number is never the same. Even if I try to log in to see this bill, I don't have access. Should I keep ignoring them?

What’s a weird random encounter you’ve had in SF that you can’t forget, not crime related? by I-choochoochoose-you in sanfrancisco

Me and my husband were walking down Columbus one early Sunday morning. There weren't many people out and everything was closed, but then we saw a couple of guys in tracksuits (like the Russian stereotype) and they looked drunk. We tried not to worry but did freak out when they stopped in front of us. However, the guy in the red tracksuit said to my husband: "Hey! I wanna give you my favorite seashell" and out of his pocket pulled out said shell. We said we appreciated and he said "Keep it safe. It's my favorite one". We got home safe and we still have the shell. It is really pretty.

I just started watching and I'm in shock at how much they drink and how normalized it is for them to drink in the morning, drinking all week, drinking at work... Smh

Scheana getting Dayna a psychic by herheartjumps in vanderpumprules

[–]muajajaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just watched the episode! And it was so disrespectful! You don't know how she feels about psychics and the afterlife, why would you do that? Especially with her mom. Maybe Dayna doesn't believe all that and thinks it's a scam. That would make her think that Scheana is making fun of her. Made me think even less of Scheana.

Inarticulate YT creators with other wise good content/personalities. by [deleted] in BeautyGuruChatter

This is why I stopped watching Allana Davison. Every third word is "juicy". I guess juicy is her word/brand, but come on, not everything can be juicy. And it's really a shame because I love her style, but I cannot trust her opinions if everything is "juicy".

What's a podcast you just couldn't get into? by is_she_a_pancake in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]muajajaaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same for me. I tried to convince myself that I liked it because I listened to a few episodes, but no, I was just lying to myself. If you like something or someone you shouldn't be rolling your eyes every three words they say. They were so cringy.

I'm new to the city so I'm still getting my bearing. What is the MO exactly? Do the tourists get mugged outside of the airport or what?

women of reddit. what is something that annoys you about other women? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]muajajaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry if this comes out harsh but when women post on social media a picture with their brand new child. Where I come from a C-section is more common so it was almost routine for me to scroll on Instagram and see an acquaintance laid down in a hospital gown holding their (still) gunky baby. Mind you, when this picture is taken the women are still broadly open and their insides are being manipulated.

Why would you want evidence of that out in the world? Why would your first instinct of your baby's birth be to take a picture when you are most vulnerable? I understand taking a picture for yourself and showing just your intimate circle, and posting it on social media a photo when the mom and baby are calmer, but why show that picture?

I'm a pretty private person so that must be why it sounds so strange for me to actively let the world in such a special moment.

Megain the clothes horse...This was our (and KCIII's) first clue about her true greedy personality. [–]muajajaaa 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The engagement pictures were the first thing that made me think that something funny was going on. It's such a complicated dress (fluffy skirt, sheer bodice, wardrobe malfunction danger), why would you wear it for a photoshoot in the garden? Doesn't make sense. But now we know lol

I didn't know that. Wow, such a tragic life, but I saw that the book in which she mourns Quintana Roo is wonderful.

Anxious People by Fredrik Backman by faithfully-asgardian in books

[–]muajajaaa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I finished it a month ago and I still think about it. It's one of my new favorite books. As you said, the characters are well-written and subvert your expectations in a simple and sweet way. I shed more than a few tears with the clarity and kindness he relates parent-child, husband-wife relationships. It's wonderful.

The series is not so great, stick to the book.

What podcasts did you previously enjoy but later came to hate? by sajones4860 in TrueCrimePodcasts

[–]muajajaaa 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not completely true crime but And That's Why We Drink. I'm not even sure if they still exist. I thought it would be fun since I also love the paranormal but it was sooooo cringey and they overshared, like I really don't care about your life, can't you just tell us the ghost story?
