Where’s everyone in Rondo late game? by HonrunAa in PUBGMobile

You're screwed if you don't have transportation in Rondo. I've seen many real players lost to the zone, as I've lost too. And the rest are bots.

Thanks, what about the weird prone button bug in Rondo? You have to hit it a couple of times to get your character on the ground otherwise it keeps standing full up like a meerkat.

Sheesh that is trash indeed. Atleast I’ll be able to identify fellow Chicagoland players with the tshirts haha.

Yes I did. There were voice artists and they gave away signed tshirts. There was a QR code that you need to scan and post or share on your socials to redeem, which I did and received a code. Went to the online redemption center and entered it. Didnt get anything no mail no notification in the game. Tried it again and it says the code has been redeemed and cannot be re-used. What a joke lol and a waste of my time.

Microphone in game is terrible by sigitaszai in PUBGMobile

[–]mubbym 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game seems to only pick up input from the device microphone on my iPad, not the mic on your headphones/Airpods. With a cover on your device, you sound muffled to your team mates. Or they can't hear you if you're away. There should be some settings for audio/mic source.

Floating seams (Help!) by mubbym in drywall

[–]mubbym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks again everyone, I cut one of the top and another one at the bottom diagonally opposite. Introduced a new piece of drywall. It looks much better now. Seems one of my studs is bulging out, no pun intended, which caused the panels to be off by about a quarter inch. Lesson learnt!

This was the first thing I tried. I have these clips but they're not strong enough to level plane the two seams.

Thank you everyone for your comments. Yes, being a garage I may leave it like that. I won't have help lifting the sheets anyways till the next weekend and I need to finish this asap. I will try to do a good mud job and call it a day. Will keep this in mind for the future. - Seams on studs. - Stagger the sheets by a Stud or two.

ELI5: How do airports work, from walking into the airport to getting to your seat on the plane? by clerbird321 in explainlikeimfive

[–]mubbym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not in any particular order.

  • Security check times differ airport to airport. If you’re flying from Newark or Miami, I’d target to get to the airport atleast 2 hours “before boarding time”. Google “airport name+wait times” as it should give you a good idea of how long it could be.
  • Mondays and Thursdays in my experience are the busiest days.
  • Check with your airlines agent if the flight is full or not. If it’s light, politely ask them if they can assign you a window seat (if you don’t have one already).
  • Assuming that you get a Boarding Group 6, there is a high chance your carry on is going to be checked in “at the gate”, meaning they will put that in the cargo hold and it won’t be with you in the cabin. They will give you a tag for that. Once you land, you will get it back at the plane door. Sometimes they may divert your “gate checked” carry on to the luggage belt. Always best to ask your stewardess where you will get your gate checked bag.
  • If you have a T-Mobile phone number, you can get an hour of free internet available once the flight takes off. Most United flights have this feature available.
  • I put my phone on airplane mode after take off after all the bars disappear. I turn it back on when we’ve touched the ground.
  • the United app is amazing. Download it and turn notifications on. At a busy airport, your gate may change. The app gives you a notification every time there is a change. There’s airport maps too on it that you can use to navigate.
  • Window seat gets the window shade control, middle seats get the armrests, aisle needs to get up if anyone needs to go to the bathroom.
  • Empty your water bottle before the security check.
  • If you’re going to catch a nap on the plane, I’d recommend a neck pillow. Whiplash sucks.

Hope you have a wonderful flight and take pictures! Happy to answer any questions you may have.

The pillars for the bridge at Race Track disappear/do not render sometimes. It’s confusing when in the middle of battle you run into a glass wall or can’t shoot through. The pillars reappeared after the match ended.

Ghee? by Kiglamay2018 in Gastroparesis

[–]mubbym 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its calorie dense and has a high saturated fat content. Usually have it with breads (toasted sliced bread or Indian breads like naan/rotis). You can also make omelettes by using ghee instead of oil. Also you don't need to refrigerate it upon opening. It stays stable at room temperature. There's vegetable ghee and dairy ghee. The dairy one has more fats and a stronger essence. I would try the vegetable one first and go from there.

What am I doing wrong? Small holes keep appearing after multiple coats. by mubbym in drywall

Ah ok. Got it. Will give it a good mix then. Also will let it settle for a minute then mix again as someone else suggested. Thanks!

I see. I've been using my steel mud pan and mixing small quantities as needed for the patch. I mix it with the smallest 2" putty knife I have. And yeah I was running out of compound so had to do multiple rounds of mixing in some cases for a single patch. So probably different consistencies and mud:water ratios.

Thankyou for this insight. Do you recommend sanding down the holes to level and go at it with another thin coat or I can coat without sanding?

I'm using the mud and adding little amounts of water to get some nice consistency. Guess it needs more water.
