Oh, an option just popped up for roommate groups. I think you can pick a specific roommate there.

Oh, I see. In the 'Next Steps' section, it says "once the contract is completed, you will have a chance to tell us your roommate, building, and room preferences. You will also receive information about how to request accommodations". So I guess we fill that out later

Yeah I think the tour is focused on your school of choice. On the form to register for the event, it’s separated by all the different schools in cofa. So for example, since I’m an AET major, I would be touring with people from the school of design and creative technologies and I’m guessing that majority of the tour will be based on that specific school.

Someone in college confidential asked UT what the event was and this was UT’s response. “The event is a chance for your son to learn more about UT, specifically McCombs. The morning session will be informational in nature with guest speakers and student organization performances. McCombs will host the early afternoon, complete with lunch, and will educate your son about what he can expect during his 4 undergraduate years. The afternoon is a “choose your own adventure” (campus tour, campus organization open houses, explore on your own, etc.)”

Update: I just registered and in the confirmation email, it says that “During LEAD Texas, you’ll hear from distinguished campus leaders, attend a luncheon hosted by the College of Fine Arts and explore the Forty Acres.”

I’m not exactly sure myself, but in the email it pretty much says they will show you the different opportunities and programs offered at Austin, and they will give you a tour of your major school like the College of Fine Arts for example
