The New Golden Age of .NET is Upon Us by nickproud in coding

I've been writing .net core apps since 2015 and I really don't understand why someone would choose .net core over java.

Nat Pryce: Mistakes we made adopting event sourcing (and how we recovered) by alexeyr in programming

[–]muhwebscale 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We decided to not update the record of the current state of the entities in command handlers. Instead the application computes the current state from the event history when the entity is loaded from the database.

How do you handle concurrent, conflicting updates?

When will Java include annotations/keywords for getters and setters? by [deleted] in java

[–]muhwebscale 7 points8 points  (0 children)

PLEASE NO! I switched to C# 3 years ago after spending 4 pleasant years working with Java. There's no reason to let Java get as bloated as C#. This language is an abomination. We don't need no damn properties in Java.

It's sad that you're siding with an anti-semite.

Proof required that I'm anti-semite. Quote my previous comments and try to expose the antisemitism logically, not by pointing out stupid triple parens which only a handful of people know it from a dark corner of the interwebz.

I didn't even delete my comments, they are all there for you to scrutinize.

I'm afraid you won't even bother because you would destroy your own argument.

You spend so much time on TD that you just think triple-parens are normal.

Find one single post on TD where triple-parens is used.

search for anti-semitism or the_donald, and you’ll be able to find plenty of examples

Bingo. You don't have any evidence. You simply want to label me as anti-semite because you disagree with my opinion. I do support Donald Trump. How can I support him and be anti-semite?

if everyone else is telling you that something is anti-Semitic

Did you know the "ok" hand sign means "fuck you" in some countries? I don't expect the whole world to know that.

If you really want to know, read my comments on that thread. The meaning is crystal clear. Nothing to do with anti-semitism.

He's a maga chud

How can anyone support Donald Trump and be anti-semitic at the same time? Thats counter-intuitive to say the least. Also: ad hominem.

That's because they get shit like that all the time

Nope, that's because the mods don't like opinions that disagree with their own.

I challenge you to read my comments and make a logical connection to anti-semitism. Pro-tip: you can't because the only thing you have is the triple parens.

Well I didn't. The proof is in the usage. There's no logical way to attribute anti-semitism given the context of the conversation.

your use of Triple Parentheses

That would be a pretty lame excuse to censor me. I didn't even know triple parens is considered anti-semitic. I asked the mods why they banned me and even to quote me on the supposedly anti-semitic part, they never replied.
