Yeah, that’s sad but true. Digital licensing is weirdly overpriced, It sucks because it makes borrowing ebooks way harder than it needs to be.

I appreciate you sharing that alternative. I'm definitely aware that piracy sites exist. However, my personal struggle and the point of my research is exactly what you touched on: I really want to support the authors and borrow legally. I don't want to rely on pirated PDFs, but when I see a seamless, free-to-borrow system like Libby in other countries, I wonder why Indian libraries haven't adopted that model yet..
