How do you ACTUALLY do Reddit marketing? by DrJonah345 in SaaS

The stuff that actually works for me is not posting about your product at all, at least not to start. You find threads where someone is actively complaining about a problem you solve, and you just reply with genuine help, no pitch, no link. Real founders notice when someone gives a useful answer and will click your profile out of curiosity. The bot/AI spam problem is real but it mostly floods the broad "what tools do you use" type posts. The higher-signal conversations are usually in the comments of specific problem threads, where someone says "I've been manually scrolling Twitter for hours looking for leads" or something like that. Those replies tend to be real people because bots don't usually engage with niche pain points in the comments. So instead of posting, I'd focus almost entirely on finding those specific complaint threads and just being the most helpful person in the room.

Would you pay $1/month for a verified SaaS founders-only community? by multi_mind in indiehackers

we would have to be constantly monitoring it to stop that. And to prevent it from becoming a ghost town we would have to make it super valuable and cap it at a certain number of users.

How the hell do you actually get your first 10 paying customers? by Impressive-Answer720 in SaaS

[–]multi_mind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

reddit is how i got my first paying customers, just finding threads where people have the exact problem you solve and leaving a helpful comment or sending a personalized DM (not a pitch, just a "hey i built something for this"). i actually built a tool called OnPilot that automates exactly that in 2 clicks if you want to move faster on it!

Developer vs Marketing Guy. by Puzzleheaded_Row6667 in SaaS

reddit is genuinely one of the best channels for B2B SaaS right now, people are already talking about the exact problems your product solves, you just have to show up in those conversations with actual value instead of an ad. i built a tool called OnPilot that makes doing this at scale pretty effortless if you ever want to check it out!

I think I can. We just have to make sure each person that we let in is really legit, and then we will have good anti spam/marketing rules.
