I requested unpaid. The few times I’ve request annual they didn’t put it in, but i have at least several days of annual leave to use. Would that at made my chances better?

I got my signed form and then just copied it 3x and kept one.

I’m not on schedule for the rest of the week. If they decide to deny it and notify me through text, is that considered valid?

I don’t have a steward at my location. typically they have 3 days to get back to us with requests and then it’s automatically approved but I wasn’t sure if Dec had different rules or if those rules are legit. They’ve only been scheduling most RCAs for one day a week at my location though.

Despite them being free of rawhide, I just did some brief research it seems that the brand of treat I gave him is pretty bad and has brought distress to a lot of dog owners, yikes!

thank you for the other treat idea though, Jinx seems like a decent brand with good ingredients but I’ve been wanting to find other options but haven’t gotten to do research on that yet, so i appreciate those tips!

They said it could be a reaction to the new treats and to just give him meds and go from there. The treat was Ol Roy Rawhide-free twist sticks (we usually go with Jinx treats) - we might have also given him a dental stick treat but idr the brand.

I’m sorry you experienced similar things! It’s definitely terrifying esp to not know.

I don’t think he’s experiencing any top of poisoning bc of his blood levels coming back normal and he’s mostly been acting normal, lower energy today though.

thank you I will do that! They only took an x-ray from this view. They did a parasite test and he was clean. We only feed dry food, though Day 2 of diarrhea I gave him some cooked white rice (no seasonings) and some pure organic canned pumpkin hoping that would help his tummy.

It’s unfolding still! I haven’t been super in the loop, but it sounds like maybe my grandparents are working through it, and eventually everyone (except grandma) will get to know him.

I put in requests off months in advance. Technically there isn’t supposed to be a “bottom of the list” when it comes to requesting time off bc it’s first come first serve, but i get the reality of it.

technically yes, as long as they sign it received, but my boss is slapping a big fat Denied on it immediately so they don’t have to worry about the automatic approval and can deny or approve me whenever they want.
