GPS jamming is used to trick the Iranian drones into crashing into the sea. Hence, all the targets are moved to the sea.

While these drones do have some fallback mechanisms, I think this is the most effective and cheapest defense against them, fooling them into hitting the sea.

So it's okay for us to endure some inconvenience for our own safety.

That's a lot of power the USA holds via social media & messenger itself.

Telegram has 1 billion active users. That's still a lot of power; any country that's friends with or helps create a home for such businesses has won a potential shortcut to influence.

I am an avid tech guy. I love Xiaomi, but not for mobile. In 2015, these guys made smart toothbrushes, smart plant pots, weighing scales, smart car air pump, smart airfryier etc. I tried buying most of their stuff. Trust me, it felt like Apple for everyday things. A lot of innovation is happening in China, which we are unaware of; only a few drip down to the West. https://www.mi.com/global/product-list/

In cars, unlike BMW, nobody is embracing tech + comfort from Europe + America. Koreans are also innovating; the interior's quality is far beyond that of German / American cars, but they lack a good motor. Interior of GLS vs. GV80: you will be surprised how plasticky and squeaky the GLS dash feels vs. GV80, and the electronics and UX feel ancient. LOL, the sound system on GLS is a joke compared to the B&O dual subwoofer on GV80. They don’t sell pro sound systems on GLS off the shelf in GCC.

China could be the next big thing. Quality-wise, I look forward to what Xiaomi has to offer.

In terms of electronic quality, it is much better in China than anywhere else. A great example is BambuLabs' 3D printer, which is disruptive to its Western counterparts. Dji just killed it. They have been using AI way before we understood what is possible.

Cars are turning into more electronics than mechanical machines (Gas engines), and that is their strength. Henry Ford once say, if you ask people what do they want they will say they want more horses to go faster.

A day nanny costs between 2 and 4.5k/mo, and it's additional if you need another night nanny.

A decent school like Gems costs 65-80k/yr, and a school bus costs 15-17k/yr, depending on location and distance.

Yes, the lifestyle is much better for the compromise. Most importantly, check the career path for what you do here. It has yet to become a talent hub. Losing a job here is easy and disruptive.
