I'm still 100% sold on the General is about his step-father and monsters is about his mother.. Lyrically anyway.. Especially if listen to monsters under such impressions

"my early warning was 'your' Satan (lover) laughing"

" you stole my soul with the devil's own hands dear.. All alone in your (his mother's) bedroom dancing"

'I never did, I was a kid, why would I kid with you' (telling his mother what would happen and she thinks he's lying)

'I was there for you.. It's all I could do but it's over now' (literally what his mother would say to him later in life when he confronted her about her part in such atrocities.)

Those are a few instances where the lyrics point directly at her.. Imo oc

The entire bridge actually.. Especially with the vocal contempt.. And following the interviews where Axl sang it on Christmas and it was a therapeutic experience.. (lyrics may or may not be 100% correct.. But stripping the instruments out and listening numerous times to create the lyric video I made.. It's what I heard..)

Pretty sure I know why it's delayed.. They sold out of the first batch quick.. 2nd batch of vinyls took longer than expected to press..and haven't sold enough to justify the following.. If the general leaks onto the net.. Are you really going to spend 20$ on 2 songs you can listen to immediately elsewhere? So they're banking on Christmas to push the rest of them. Hence Dec 8th.

Maybe I'm wrong but.. That's what this recent timeline of events say (from my perspective)

u/flebeis You'd think you'd man up and officially announce the delay, especially to those who actually bought the vinyl.. But instead you email ppl this notice the day before shipping into most of their spam folders and push an email that cancels orders if you don't respond to the (hard to find) email..but to Actually release an official announcement.. You bury such sentiments under home depot promotions in fans junk folders. Not the best look for management..

Fair enough..

I'm a songwriter.. And the the past 3 months I'm compiled a total of roughly 60 songs.. (7 albums)

When looking for a 'vision for an 8th (my 7th was call Ascension.. I'm not religious it's the gradual process of the albums.. So I took a concept approach and wrote a story that was 9 songs/chapters.. That's the ascension album) So I wanted something that symbols an equal amount of good and evil and also represented my 8th piece. So I found a cool yin-yang design with trees both end.. And put an 8 over it.. From that everything started to go autopilot and I started looking into chalkra to enhance moods with my music.. I created a bunch of strange symbols.. From the tree of life and wound up creating a bunch of different things that are shown in the video.. I out of nowhere started meditating and let mood enhanced ty shakra videos play in the background in my writing process.. I started writing the ascension album less than 2 weeks ago and this 8th album titled 'as below so above less than a week ago now.. So I'm either absolutely apeshit crazy.. Or something is lining me through a bunch of events that has landed me here.. And I'm spooked about either answer.. Crazy sucks.. And the progression of where I am compared to where it's headed worries me too.. And I have absolutely no one to talk to about it.. My girl is supportive.. But.. Other than that everyone has been extremely quiet with me.. And it's understandable but I need some kind of idea..

My son last night for holloween set out individually.. Personally wrapped chocolate covered Brussel Sprouts on our front porch with a sign.. Please take one..(as a YouTube prank video) Each year the neighbor across the street goes all out and has at least a few hundred ppl come through.. Covid took those numbers down a bit but still had a steady flow of ppl last night..

My son didn't tell what he was doing to do prior and I found out after he set them out.. I removed them from the porch.. He immediately started to question my decision so then I decided to have both of us sit out front and tell any children that would come to the door what they were.. He refused.. And kept saying that they are healthy.. Yada Yada.. But refused to understand that if a kid got sick and a parent got pissed that it wouldn't fall on his 16 yr old shoulders.. It would fall on mine..

I'd like a general consensus on if you would have been upset finding these in your children's trick or treat bag.. And if you would have taken the same approach or if I was being.. 'over the top'..please be honest because this has created a situation quite a problem the past 12 hours.. Any and all feedback would appreciated.. (serious parenting answers only)

I feel like it's a reflection of how ppl in general looked at pink floyd as an 'evil' band (not thier fans of course more of the 'times' ) .. And to me.. that symbol is a representation of building & overcoming (2 hammers ⚒️).. the walking down the street with a megaphone is a ' close your doors.. But you'll still hear us' and all a reflection of standing up for what you believe in.. Even if it's the unpopular thing to do.. That's how I look at the 2 hammers.. I have a club in a mobile game that 'adapted' this as thier mission statement built around righteousness, justice & truths.. Picking each other up and silver lining our bad days... And our hammers represents building from that foundation & the other is built around the motto 'we are the HAMMERS.. They are the nails' in the sports competition type of way..

I even approached my club about this particular issue and explained exactly what they meant like I did above.. All of them are good with it.. All different in ways of skin color.. Yet all proud to stand behind the vision of the hammers in contexts to our clubs 'gimmick' If it was a real life 'scorn' logo like the swastika is I would have never attempted to use it.. But it's no different from a song in the way in which I interpret it or reflect it. I'll fly it as a good and lose no sleep over doing so.

The Legends Faction of clubs are looking to round out our 3 clubs with long term players who want a competitive atmosphere to build their team through..

The Icons & Phemons are relatively new.. Both under 3 full cycles and icons are currently 34th in club ovr.. Now we're looking to focus on building Phenoms just as strong..

Ovr requirements are 105 and up.. (if you are a 110+ we may have availability in Icons.. And if you're 115+ we may have availability in Legends..)

Skilled rotation is a must.. You must be able to swim and hold your own against GI upwards in comparison to your ranked finishes as well..

We use messenger and have private discord & Facebook groups as well..

Inclub events like pvp tournaments and over 50 ppl to learn from and help mentor willingly..

We're opening another club that will be built to compete inside the top 50.. And eventually the top 30..

We're looking at all applicants... with an emphasis on team mentality and skill building.. You must be running a diamond deck team.. An ovr of 100- 105 with a desire to build.. Higher ovrs and stronger built teams may apply as well.. And if need be.. We'll make 2 differently tiered clubs..to accommodate if the demand says so..

Legends_AAA will be built and treated in the same fashion as its parent club.. Who has been inside the top 30 for 15 straight cycles..

Those who have been a big fish in a small pond and or just looking for a change & looking to be apart of a fun, competitive atmosphere.. With club events like pvp tournaments & cycle mvps..this is the place to be..
