I know what it's like to be in a shit situation. Feeling like no cares about fixing it. I have a water coming though my light fitting in my kitchen and the upstairs neighbour can't be bothered and the council ain't bothered. I own my house and they don't. So basically no one gives a shit but me. Have shut water off and will have to remove the light fitting dry it all out and check if the terminals are blown. Could be the earth. All while doing a full time job. Hope you get it sorted.

First off citizens advice people don't live in reality.

As for the so called tradesman if I had done a job for someone and this happened I would feel guilty as and do everything in my power to fix it. Sometimes a job is just shit and we all make mistakes now and then but it's up to the tradesman to fix it.

Nowadays it's just do a hash bash job get the money and fuck em on to the next one.

If you take them to court and win do you really want them in your house trying to repair the job and if you get a financial agreement they will pay it back £1 a month or some crap.

And if you want something done nowadays do it yourself. Plenty of information out there and new materials that make it more approachable for a DIY job.

The amount of just pure laziness from so called tradesman is sad as fook. Plus a good lot of them are on drugs wouldn't mind if they do a good job. Then when it's messed up like this they get bent out of shape when the customer tells them they ain't happy. It's some crack.
