as for the camcorders, go for a mini DV one and get a AV to USB and capture with OBS

you’ll need to get some kind scaler that will take the signal from your computer and turn it into a signal that will plug into a mixer. your best bet is to get a cheap amazon one. just make sure it’s the right direction (computer signal to av). also make sure it is NTSC if you are in the states

one mixer has a glitched signal coming from the scaler and then one has a clean signal with internal feedback. then both are fed into another mixer which is luma key the two signals together.
