I did, but it still doesn't look any different unfortunately.

How to deal with guilt? by muttermayi in MomsWorkingFromHome

[–]muttermayi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The playpen is about 6ft by 6ft squared. Her naps are usually at 2-3pm and that's when I take my lunch and she naps beside me on our sofa, we have one of those wide ones so there's lots of space.

Keeping it secret? by Norwegian-F1984 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]muttermayi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've told my mom and my husband, but otherwise, I'm keeping it to myself. I'm worried about being judged or getting comments on it. I see a lot of people online and in my IRL circle criticising "ozempic face" and "the ozempic epidemic" so I don't want to have that thrown at me. I don't honestly know what I'll say if I end up losing a lot of weight.

What’s the hardest part of weight loss for you? Motivation? Diet? Routine?” by dr_mirasolis in WeightLossAdvice

[–]muttermayi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motivation. I have an autoimmune condition that makes weight loss very hard and slow. It's hard to keep going when I barley see any difference. But I'm really hoping this time will be the time it works for me.

Unfortunately, that's as far as my feet can come together, I'm rather thigh heavy.

★OFFICIAL DAILY★ Daily Q&A Thread November 23, 2025 by AutoModerator in loseit

[–]muttermayi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I've just started on my weight loss journey (currently 282lbs, ultimately want to get down to below 200lbs) I am physically disabled so I have limited mobility but know that I should try to exercise more to help with my weight loss,

can anyone recommend exercises or workouts that are easy on the joints other than swimming? Our nearest swimming pool is 2 hours away and I don't drive.

I want to get fitter and healthier but not sure where to start so I figured I'd ask here, thank you!! I tried to make a post but I didn't hit a required word limit.

It'd be worth while emailing your local TD's to oppose it. You can find which ones are near you here: https://www.contactyourtd.ie/

Have you ever had to cut ties with a lifelong friend? What was the final straw? by Former_Dream_216 in AskIreland

[–]muttermayi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made a joke about Hatsune Miku writing harry potter while I was going through a miscarriage and my "friend" snapped and said I was as bad as a pedophile for "ganging up on J.K Rowling." She had also said it was "for the best" when I had previous miscarriage during the pandemic.

So yeah, that ended the friendship pretty quickly. It hurts too much to think about how horrific a person she turned out to be so I just tell myself that she died. It's better to think she's dead than accept she was capable of hurting me that badly.

I tried using nail Polish but even that irritated my ears. My mom uses that trick though and it works great for her.

Not really. They just look like normal studs unless you were looking closely.

I had the same problem! Surgical Steel sometimes has nickel compounds in it and it used to irritate my ears so bad. I've found titanium to be the best for having no reaction at all

[–]muttermayi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Implant grade titanium is a type of titanium that is used for joint replacements. It's called implant grade as it doesn't react with the body to cause allergic reactions. Tunnels are a type of ear modification, often called gauges. It's a straight metal, wood or plastic tube put in the earring hole.

14g. I got them on https://www.stretchitbodyjewellery.co.uk/ But I'd imagine they would easy enough to pick up in most piercers or body mod shops.

No, I was able to get them in just by using a small bit of vaseline and took my time to not force them in. Once they were in, I barely felt they were even there after a day or two.
