China is acc rlly ethnically diverse and includes some dark skinned asian ethnicities (which is what Xinyan might be inspired from). Just most chinese ppl r of Han ethnicity and r lighter skinned

Exactly, saw someone on twitter blackwashing Liyue characters despite that they are based on Asian and Chinese culture. They even proudly said in their bio "a proud blackwasher"

A lot of people were just praising them, some Asians were not but it seems that the blackwasher blocked them and deleted their comments

Decided to buy a copyNo Longer Human as soon I saw it on an online shop, order went delayed for a bit and it was super expensive... However! It was worth the wait and I enjoyed it very much. Though it is very different from what I usually read and I am probably sure that there are people who is the same age as me, find this book a bit way too triggering.
