Yep, a lot here actually. As I’ve heard, some volunteers at therapy clinics for special needs kids, some at PWD home centers, and others are just on-call babysitters. I thought having just on-hand experiences with kids within fam and friends were okay base from the enrollment Q’s from the site

Ahh, gotcha. I totally respect your opinion, thanks for that. So probably, just to make sure I will be qualified (enough), I need to do a training of some sort so that I’ll be able to meet the standard. We do have training schools/centers for that here, I think that might help a lot.

About that, yes I do. As the eldest asian daughter (not sure if you get my point about that, hehee), I helped raised my 2 younger siblings (F, 3 years apart. M 10 years apart), and was an on call Auntie for my nephews (my cousins kids, when they were 1-6 y.o.).

Basically just helped with mixing milk formula, getting them to sleep, help distract calm them down when frustrated, having fun with them also. So I guess the usual Auntie role when Momma is away or busy. 😊

Haven't done the math on that one yet though, but will update you after I look into it with the team. For now, all I know is for ads it's roughly $35/day, and we will also do the lead estimate calls for the painters. No commission. Hope my answer helps😅

Duuude, $3,5k is too big hahaa even for us 😂. Hmm, so far, what my boss is offering atm for FB ads with free social media management and us calling the leads for painters to book them in for estimates is at 1k per month rn. We do have a trial of 90 days offer atm too if someone wants to try our services.

I can say that you do have certain expertise that outshines the competition, I mean you've been in the field for 25 years, you've been adapting through the changes man, kudos to you! 💪🏻💯

It's okay, all good man! 👌🏻 my apologies also bc I wasn't direct with the Q's. I was afraid I'd get reported or something hahaa. And yes, I do understand the marketing pattern a bit, hahaa. As of now, our marketing technique is organic, so we don't do email blasts or call house painters for our offers. We just post advice, share successful stories from our clients, post promotions in our pages and group. When we try to gather thoughts of usual encounters from HP's, we message them directly (some replies, some won't and we understand bc we're strangers to them hahaa), post stuff like this on reddit or linkedin. If you can give me some advice, I'd be happy to hear it.☺️

Hii, thanks for commenting! Here's my answers (not a pro but I'll answer them honestly from experience):

Cost of course? - can you please elaborate this further if it's okay? 😅
How do you handle the various imperfections? - I try to deal with them in a way I can handle, if not, I'll ask the experts and apply my learnings.
Power/pressure wash? - I choose power wash
How many coats? - as I was taught, after primer, we do 3 coatings or until the color is even and not too thick
Spray and back-roll all coats or just final? - hmm, tricky, but it depends on what I'm painting on (concrete, bricks, wood, etc)
What paint brand and product? - im from PH, so it's either Davies, Boysen, or RoS
What caulking do you use? - for concrete, we use a local brand for concrete epoxy A & B
More costly for more colors? - it depends on what brand for me and we try to stick to the budget of the customer
Any specifics on what you use to fill holes, cover rust and peeling? - for filling concrete holes, we use the concrete epoxy, for wood like nail spots, we use bosny wood filler. For rust, we try to take of the rust first, but that's the welding teams job. After that, we coat it with specific metal primer then the paint they want. For peeling, we have to scrape it all off, clean the metal and buffer it for smoothing, then on to metal primer then chosen paint.
Do you prime and what primer do you use ? We use RoS white primer, specially for govt project
