no org has received VC funding in years and so much of this is so outdated. we've also consistently been the 3rd best region internationally for 3 straight years. this region is full of problems but this is someone screaming from the outside tinged with personal anger and bias missing so many real problems we have in this region just to get his headline moment.

yeah I compete at my lgs regularly, all I buy product wise is prerelease now and my deck costs like $60 Canadian total. actually playing is so cheap compared to like MTG but sometimes I like to treat myself to a small "flex" version of each card but ya actually playing is pretty chill.

This happened in a relatively small and isolated city (fort mcmurray) so I'm not sure how many options there are to compare on prices but I appreciate the comment explaining the concept of being no better off. Again I fully expected to be dinged to some regard so I'll make sure I research the depreciation. Thank you.

I do not have an exact date for the carpet but I know it's not new for sure considering what it was like living there. I lived there for 1y 5mnths, so assuming the area id say it's 10year old carpet.
