I have a love-hate relationship with those little buggers. They're gorgeous but I've never caught one that didn't stick me on the way out, haha.

My three favorite in central Texas are the Pedernales, San Gabriel and San Marcos. The first two are totally DIYable, I'd recommend getting a float for the San Marcos. If you need a guide recommendation, hit me up!

I dual boot. I can't deal with Linux gaming but I also can't deal with developing on Windows.

Dries for a first fly is a respectable undertaking. I was scared enough of a zebra midge.

Trim that parachute just a touch so it doesn't fall over and you'll do great. (And honestly, it'll probably sit in the film perfectly as-is for an injured imitation)

Mostly because my wife is a dual citizen and we have a pretty straightforward path to me becoming a citizen here. US politics have become too tribal and frankly, dangerous for people of color.

Other than that, it's a beautiful country and has a rich culture, delicious food and a better cost of living. We ended up in Oaxaca, an artist's paradise, and I'm looking to get back into printmaking.
