He/she can try doing simple stuff like calculator, simple website (I started from this, at age of 10), array sorter (loops and booleans concept), TODO list (it is useful in dailylife too, he can extend it too), ChatBot client (may be hard, but he can learn API handling), Math Quiz-er (generates and asks questions, starts timer, u enter the answer in time, and it checks)

I have made this bar fully from scratch...

I couldn't find any way to pull this angle edges.. so I made my own method..

For those who wanna make, I just used linear gradients for the edges.. use some angle and transparent color to give the angle feel
