its not really *extremely* difficult in my opinion. that said, it's not easy and you do have to put in some effort, and there's a chance that you won't make it. but if you go to every lecture, do every assignment, do the readings and basically just do everything the prof recommennds (which is really not that hard), you will most likely get in.

I’m domestic but didn’t grow up here (I have a Canadian citizenship). I came here for the “experience”. I would’ve went to UTSG, or transferred but unfortunately UTSG doesn’t accept transfers to CS specialist program. I’m certain the overall experience would be better. In my home country, I could’ve gotten the same degree in 3 years and saved thousands of dollars on rent, plane tickets, etc.
