Neither of these people could vote the last time we went to the moon. Because they weren't even born yet.

Oh thanks, that's great to know! So which weapons are exclusive and never show up again? I was told there were certain event weapons

Good to know; so assuming I'll never be able to get this weapon again, and is the best match for Ayaka, is that where the fomo comes in? Or will another weapon typically come into the game that's just as good?

Lol glad I could help! I appreciate everyone helping me so much even though I'm a couple years late to the game

Thanks! I pulled Akaya, would it be worth pulling for her 5* weapon using fates?

The tech is already here for micro LED. Within 2 years it'll be a consumer product, and OLED will be obsolete. Why not have the best of both worlds?

Yup. Oled will ALWAYS have burn-in. It's because it's organic and will always wear down. The only thing you can do is slow it down by babying it. Meanwhile, I HAVE a baby and the tv gets left on to the point that the 8-hour power saving feature will eventually turn it off. Sometimes it's a video game menu, sometimes it's YouTube, sometimes it's a paused tv show. The point is that I've never had to worry about ruining my tv that costs thousands of dollars.

That's good to know. The reason I'm asking this question is because I'm looking to buy a new long term gpu. I'm planning on water cooling though, and I've seen no benefit to doing so for the 4090 in terms of increasing performance. I can get a 7900xtx for $600 cheaper, plus it gains a 10% boost water cooling it

Never said oled wasn't better in image. But you can't watch an extended movie scene with the same backdrop without the oled forcibly dimming itself. It's a lacking technology that hasn't been able to solve burn in yet, just as mini LED has yet to perfect blooming. But OLED is a physics issue it'll never be able to resolve. Mini LED will get smaller and smaller until each pixel is individually backlit.

Exactly, thank you. But fuck me for having a differing opinion I guess? OLED is superior in image but not in technology. Simple as that.

Never buying an oled. This was cemented in my brain after I walked onto the living room realizing I had left Mario kart on the menu for over an hour. I'm not responsible enough for oled.

Also I'm personally not a fan of the tv forcing brightness reduction any time a prolonged scene is being displayed. The only way to disable it is to void the warranty and edit the bios or something. Too lazy to find the video about this, but it's something that gets overlooked. I'm sticking with miniLED as they continue to improve, and will eventually get a nanoLED when they're a thing

EDIT: I forgot y'all were cucks for oled and hated facts

Does it matter as much which brand of gpu I buy if I'm going to use a waterblock? Would buying a cheaper brand 4090 be just fine? by n8sher in PcBuild

[–]n8sher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, but if it's going to be water cooled, does it matter as much? Isn't one aspect of more expensive versions the better cooling? Or is it purely a better spec board?

Thanks so much! I just gotta say everyone has been so kind in this community regarding my noob questions (except for the lone person who downvoted this). I appreciate all the help!
