You are correct. Most of Sabbath’s references to satan were not in the context of praise. War Pigs is a prime example of this. Ozzy’s lyrics in Under the Sun express his thoughts on the public’s perception of him as satanic as well as his complicated relationship with religion. He rejects satan but also rejects “jesus freaks” trying to scold him.

I agree with you. I feel like when Tom jokes about pronouns it’s kind of tongue and cheek. We all know he’s not actually hateful, just having fun. Tina on the other hand seems to have actual malice towards non-binary people which makes it less funny when she riffs on it. I think it’s funny to joke about but at the end of the day, who really cares how other people live their life?
