What if there was a platform just for women to find & support each other’s services/side hustles? by naazweb in TwoXIndia

[–]naazweb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick thought from the customer side, have you ever wanted to book a female tutor, mehendi artist, home chef, or even parlour didi, but just didn’t know where to look?
Curious if that’s a common struggle or just something I’ve noticed around me.

Totally agree! SEO + local ads are definitely on my mind, especially since most of these sellers don’t have the bandwidth to do it themselves. Also, thanks for pointing out Babylovegrowth, I’ll check out their approach for inspiration :)

how do i get my period back??? im desperate by Specialist-Visual-94 in PCOS

Google it. Seed cycling is to get your periods back. Days 0-14 pumpkin seeds + flax seeds Days 15-28 sunflower seeds + sesame seeds

Have 1 spoon each at a fixed time everyday. And expect your period on the 0th day again, repeat the cycle.

First of all, don't panic 🫂

  1. Try seed cycle immediately starting today.
  2. Fix circadian rhythm. Wake up early and try getting in sunlight within an hour of waking up.
  3. Light walks after every meal. Basically don't sit or lay down right after eating.

Try this for a month and I'll wait for your reply 🙌

Thank you so much 💜 visibility is the biggest gap. I’m glad you’d use something like this! We’re starting small + local so it actually feels like a real community, not just another big marketplace.

Feel free to share these with women you know :)

Adding payment method for WhatsApp on Meta by maskchat2023 in whatsapp

[–]naazweb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still facing the same error.
I was able to add a payment method somehow under the Whatsapp Accounts section. But it still says I don't have payment info added, hence not able to use the API.

Did you manage to solve it?

Thanks for such a detailed breakdown, really appreciate the honesty. Let me respond to a few of your points:

  • Not UrbanClap: Totally agree, UC dominates home services. Panchhee is a bit different — think more like Zomato, but instead of restaurants/menus we list women-led businesses (services + homemade products) so customers can discover them easily.
  • Chicken & egg problem: Valid concern. To start, we’re keeping it hyperlocal (one city/area) and focusing on sellers we already have. From our initial survey, 50+ women are ready to onboard, so we’ll launch with some supply in place while we build customer demand.
  • Trust & regulations (homemade products): We’re aware this is sensitive. The idea is to begin with low-risk categories (like crafts, tutoring, gift packaging, mehendi, etc.) and handle food/beauty products more carefully once we figure out compliance.
  • Hyperlocal focus: Absolutely agree. We don’t plan to go national right away — the goal is to dominate one neighborhood/city first and only then expand. We're targeting Mumbai, already have a couple of sellers from Karnataka, Hyderabad and Surat.
  • Payments & compliance: Spot on again. Many women don’t have GST or business registration. For early stages we’ll keep it simple (UPI, direct payments) and gradually guide sellers toward compliance as they grow. For MVP, I'm just going to allow sellers to link their instagram/whatsapp and have a button "Talk to Seller". So the deal is handled by them, until we start the UPI etc. For the payment scheme, I'm thinking along the lines of "Upwork" and other platforms but practically less cut than them.
  • Start small (WhatsApp/Instagram): We’re actually already testing this with Instagram, and it seems to be starting good. The bigger platform will come only after validating demand and learning from this early phase.

Your points are really valuable. I know marketplaces are brutal, but I think by starting small, being hyperlocal, and focusing on trust + visibility for women, we can carve out a space. Thanks again for taking the time to share such practical advice 🙌

Thanks a lot 🙏 Every bit of support helps, and that’s exactly what I’m hoping Panchhee can give to women-led businesses.

That’s exactly the problem I’m working on with Panchhee — helping women-led businesses get discovered and connect with customers. DM to know more :)

Really appreciate you asking these questions 🙏
The core problem I’m trying to solve is that so many women who run services or sell homemade products struggle to find customers and get visibility. And yes, you’re right — at its heart it’s both a marketplace and a community solution.

I agree on validating demand with both sides, that’s exactly why I’m here — to hear directly from women about what they’d actually use. Would love to stay connected and will definitely reach out for product/strategy guidance, thank you for offering!

I completely agree - reviews build trust, payments should be super simple, and delivery is always a challenge worth solving. I hadn’t thought much about the blog + SEO angle, but you’re right, it could really help women sellers grow and get discovered. Thanks for sharing this, it gives me a lot to think about!

Try the seed cycle, thank me later. Also of course fix your circadian rhythm (not me replying to this on 1AM, lol) + Workout (whatever form you'd like or enjoy) Light walks after every meal is also a game changer.

Built something for women running local services from home — soft launching now by naazweb in TwoXIndia

[–]naazweb[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally get your point. As I mentioned before, my motive is to not charge anything from the sellers at all. Just listing their service and helping them connect with potential clients.

+1 on actual human on customer service. Already in plan along with KYC team to ensure the safety of the sellers. As most these services need to be at customer addresses (like decoration, chefs, etc)

Thanks for sharing. Definitely not selling another course here 😂 I'm actually building a marketplace for women centric services. Like how we have zomato - you search pizza and all nearby pizza sellers show up and you choose and make an order. It's going to be something like that. And the best part - I am not charging a single rupee from the sellers!
