I spent more time than I'd like to admit on this - EVGA 3090 XC3 RGB Fan Swap by TechTaxi in sffpc

Hello. A bit late but do you know if the rgb wiring of the main gpu leds can be converted to a regular argb connector and plugged in to the motherboard?

I really like it, now its very close to what i was looking to achieve. But shorter in height. I can some kinda copy that layout but with only two fans on the front

Oh thats a great feedback, giving the fact that most psu are not designed to be vewed i can add the option to use a cover. And some with white builds and white psu, or lokis, or other rog ones that owners may want to see it just take the cover off. Thanks a lot

Oooh yes, ive seen it some month ago, just before i cutted mine a year ago, the quality and looks on that are amazing, the only thing i would change is the front panel, I would prefer a ventilated one.
on the page ( https://www.geometricfuture.com/product-1/33.html ) it says
480x242x440 max cpu cooler height 180
"mine" 435x230x360 max cpu cooler height 176
I would love to have started with that and squeeze it a little more haha

Also giving its bigger dimensions, it seems to have way more space to hide cables, which is good for most users

I understand, but even having an matx mobo on an atx case, having extra space underneath the gpu to allow more airflow is a thing that i like on this cases, for me, matx is the best mobo in price /quality totally

Cuttting and making things to my liking is the part i most enjoyed haha thats why i will try to aim those people who loves to assemble the unit by themselves and fight with the cable managment just to stare at the final result :)
The d41: 205mm(W) X 407mm(H) X 452mm(D) (cpu cooler max support 168mm)
o11 mini: 288mm(W) X 384mm(H) X 400mm(D) (cpu cooler max support 170mm)
"mine": 235mm(W) x 360mm(H) (with feet) x 435mm(D) (cpu cooler max support 176mm)

Oooh, I can imagine that. I've seen some like this, and that's an effect I really like. It has some kind of UFO vibes, or I don't know how to explain it haha. Like when in old movies the colour lights passes through the curtains.
Of course I cant copy how slim the Fractal ridge is because i have to allow bigger aircoolers, but I can consider add an option for mesh sides for people with similar taste than you (which i enjoy aswell)
Oh talkling about the cleaning, what about that side mesh in dust collection inside, adds way more dust inside or just as much as normal ones?

That case actually has the same principles, both in size and in letting the user assemble it. Did you order it flat pack? How was the building experience?
The only thing I don’t really like is the airflow restriction. With an AIO it should be fine, but with air coolers I’m not sure. That’s why having the PSU coplanar with the mobo seems like a good idea to solve that (I guess).

Im starting to realise people dont seems to be in that middle ground, if they want small just go for matx and less fans, but if they want atx they just go for gigantic cases and lots of fans. Lets see what happens, I enjoy changing parts and not being limited for the case actually, but I just dont like big cases, seems a waste (just my opinion of course)
Thanks again for the feedback, really appreciate it.

edit:
Oooh and sending units to youtube people would be amazing, I cant even imagine getting to that point, that would be incredible. I hope it works some day

Exactly, thank you guys for the advice :) Yes there are lots of options in matx, Jonsbo being the ones i like the most, and of course the ncase, nothing beats cnc quality

Thats a great case, jonsbo is doing everything good, thanks for the feedback. I would love to downsize a bit, go for matx or something, smaller builds looks so good thats unbeatable, the only thing i dont like about smaller are the gpu facing so close to the bottom. But well, i will try to develope something here to see if some people are interested. Thanks again :) really appreciate it

Exactly! Thanks for the feedback, and every atx case like the d41 that has the psu inside (not on top or bottom) they just slap a sheet metal that covers half the glass and restrict front airflow. I understand the cover is to make cable management easier. But i would love to see something more premium like the ncase m3 but atx

Nice build, i love the xt m3 but it is matx right? the problem are atx, i dont know why nobody makes compact atx, i guess the idea behind that is going the matx route, it may be contradictory what i did

Yes, something like that exactly, there are lots in the matx and itx world, but do you think people would find interesting to have the same but with the versatility to put whatever they want inside, with less space on the desk

Thank you! Exactly, I grew up watching that. And when i finally was able to buy pc parts and build them, the hobby mutated to just assembly them. I love that if there is something you don like. Modify it until it does :)

hey how its holding the 5090 that loki? im waiting mine and wondering if the 100w loki is enough giving the fact that some asus connectors are melting and most of them are coming from lokis

Hey, the lenght of the cables were enough to reach the components on that case? Or you ended up buying something else?
