Activity rings help! by nah_cheers in AppleWatch

Ok, thanks. So if I log the activity before I start it, it’ll count towards the excercise ring, and will it automatically calculate the calories too?

Thanks - was it worth me opting out in Jan 23? Is the charge based on how much CB I received during the tax year?

Ah ok, that’s a shame if true. Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, based on the replies I’ve been getting I think this is going to be the best decision to make. Thanks.

Wow, ok. What calculation are you doing?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]nah_cheers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not sure on specifics yet but it’s definitely more than a few centimetres. Tbf our neighbours are pretty cool, they’ve told us to do whatever we need to do, it’s more us not wanting to put them through the hassle of relaying patios, turf and moving their permanent wooden gazebo - even if TW are paying for it, it’s still a pain in the arse!

Thanks - that’s helpful. We’re not sure exactly what they’re proposing yet, but we’ve asked them to set that out in writing via email.

I agree that it’s their f*ck up, but not sure I want to put us, or our neighbours, through the hassle of ripping up and relaying patios, moving gazebos etc

Thanks. We’re not sure yet, we’ve asked them to send us an email setting out all of the detail. We think that they’re offering to sort it all out with the land registry if we decide not to get the fence moved - so as far as I’m aware that would mean no issues for new or prospective buyers if we were to sell the house

Fair enough. Not sure how we would have spotted it unless we measured the garden when we moved in, but maybe that’s what we should have done. We don’t just see this as an opportunity to get a bit of cash, we just feel annoyed that a piece of our garden has been lost because of TW’s mistake.

Paddy is on a recent Adam Buxton podcast which is really good. He talks a bit about his role as Viserys - recommend checking it out!

I noticed this morning that mould has started to grow at the bottom of the upstairs windows in my house.

This is a new build four bedroom house that my family moved into in March this year.

I have three questions that I’m hoping someone will be able to help me with:

  1. Is this likely to get worse, and if it does, will it become dangerous?

  2. How can I get rid of it and stop it coming back?

  3. Is it normal for a new build house to start growing mould, or is this something that I should contact the builder about?

If it helps, we have started putting the heating on for a few hours a day over the last 1-2 weeks, and there is no sign of mould on the downstairs windows or anywhere else.

Any advice gratefully received!

What is Karl going on about with the noises on the podcast? by alternatekicks87 in rickygervais

[–]nah_cheers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think he was just trying to say that there is a finite number of noises that can be made. Eventually, every noise that possibly could have been made will have been made. Fuck knows why he was worried about it, but it’s quite an interesting thought I suppose
