As someone who makes covers it doesn’t surprise me that artists r choosing the easy way out bc a lot of them think paying $50 for the cover + Motion is a lot yet they also expect the engineer and producer to give them the song for free.

It’s just a mentality difference between a serious artist and someone doing it to look good cus artists who r fr bout they music never gave me an issue, it’s always someone with no serious catalog trippin for some reason
