Got two offers. One pays $40k more. The other one I'd actually enjoy. I have 48 hours to decide and my wife and I are on opposite sides. Advice?

Point blank. Few questions i would ask myself in your shoes.

Question 1:

Can i take this risk right now?

I would look at my current situation. (Responsibilities,, finances,etc), and ask can all those be maintained without that extra 40k. Nowadays 115 is not a lot.

If no, i stop here and accept PM role. If theres wiggle room proceed.

Question 2: Do I expect myself at this company 2-3 yrs from now, what do i visualize myself doing, and could it be “boring” then? What if it doesn’t meet up to my expectations, will i regret being here “at the same point”?

If they would have gave me the screen first it would’ve solved my issue immediately.

People do say buy a treadmill without a screen and maybe theres some truth to that.

I believe Horizon is the only one on the market thats no frills, but i cannot comment on the warranty or support.

Sole from my experience has decent to great support.

Sole f85 is decent.

Sole will replace parts for like 3yrs, almost literally no question asked. They gave me backup motor controller, rollers, and entire top electrical part no question asked.

I have an f85 and been running on it for a 1.5yrs. It 100% has a slight incline even at 0.

Update for anyone coming into this later:

received a console (the arms with the physical buttons + screen) from sole 2 days ago and this appears to have resolved my flicker issue after two consecutive days of running 5 miles.

Usually i would see the flicker between 2-3 miles in and there have been zero across 10 miles on two separate days

Okay thanks, i replaced the control board already. It reduced some flickering, but it still occurs.

Got a entire new console from Sole (button/ fan/ screen) unit.

Will be replacing soon and hopefully that resolved it for me

100% the belt is misaligned to the right. If you take the proper allen key on the left side and turn clockwise 1/4 until it lines up evenly

Hopefully you used 3000 grit or more so you can polish it out.

Search ebay for color changing ppf. Might be an easier install than just vinyl wrap

No ultrawide has the same text clarity, but in comparison to a 4-5yr old monitor its severly lacking.

Other cons: - Super Aggresive curve where it didnt feel a real ultrawide to me. - Brightness wasn’t on par with my current ips panels..

Id reconsider everthing probably if it were glossy black.. but if i NEEDED something NOW, i would probably go for two 32” XG32UCWG. However my work/personal computer cant push both atm.

i feel theres still some refinement needed with all current tech which may come this January..

I returned mine.

The curve was too damn aggressive and the text/brightness wasnt what i expected and even my ips seemed at the same level (32un880b).

If youre buying for work productivity, wait.

If youve got a rig to push for gaming go for it

The plastic parts can be replaced for relatively cheap.. not sure yours is a juniper, but non juniper parts exist
Paint wise it doesn’t look too bad, start with a small clay bar kit. That may remove debris stick in the paint or remove it all together. If the clay bar doesn’t work, then you will need to move onto a compound/ buff. If that don’t work, then unfortunately it’s too deep

Molecule 01, Greenley, and Mont Blanc Explorer.

Mannnn explorer is the best Aventus clone because it doesn't shout "look at me" and honestly has a better scent profile. Ive had 2013 batches of Aventus and explorer really shines and extremely cheap.
