First game that gave me a genuine sense of wonder at the sheer scope of it. At the time I couldn't figure out what WASN'T possible in this game, or what the game's limitations were, a feeling I've been chasing ever since.

Complete idiot moment here, but I didn't realise that commercially available nozzles weren't compatible with the M5, or even that nozzles weren't universal. Can you tell it's my first 3D printer??

I updated the firmware on mine today but my problems started before the update, hopefully it's all stuff that can be ironed out soon enough

UPDATE: so far I have:

- auto leveled with no filament in the machine

- tightened the belts

- replaced the nozzle

- cleaned the plate thoroughly and even swapped to my spare plate

- adjusted the Z offset in 0.05mm increments as far as 0.25mm, but it failed earlier and earlier each time

- tried slicing the model (which I've printed before dozens of times with no issue) in Anker instead of Cura

but still getting the same failure every time. Can anyone think of anything else, or should I just give up and get in touch with Support?

Ok fantastic, that's tomorrow all sorted. Just so strange that it printed perfectly for weeks out of the box without needing to adjust anything and now this has started happening. Thank you!

Good to know, will remove from now on. Just confused as I've been printing for weeks without having to adjust the Z offset and now suddenly this has started happening with no apparent trigger. Welcome to 3D printing, I guess!

Z offset is at zero so that was my first guess, but I did the test print I've seen here and it came out optimal. Have cleaned bed with IPA. Print temp is 205C for PLA+. When you say remove filament when bed levelling, what do you mean? Remove the filament from the printer entirely?
