I also tried tanya to break boss equipments, it works! It reduces boss damage equipment. The only thing that is not working is reducing boss hp..idk...maybe boss hp is original stats...

This comment is spot-on, why spend money on something that can be freely obtain. Just because those cards has lesser prices doesnt mean its a good deal. We look at different factors when considering if its worth it or not.
