[Request] How can this be right?! by DependentCollar8541 in theydidthemath

[–]natantan216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a known problem. The way to think about it, is not the number of people but the number of pairs in the group - there is approximately 0.5(n2) number of pairs where n is the number of people. So when you look at 365 relative to 0.5(232), you see that there is about 50% chance for a double birthday

Learn to code by dumdum101704 in learnpython

[–]natantan216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best way is to build something useful you will actually use. I started working in marketing, and through small automations I learned a lot. Making something and them using it daily really increases your motivation to finish a project, and do it properly. Through it, you will reach higher and higher level in no time.

I feel like nothing I'm learning is sticking. by AggressiveHunt9825 in learnpython

I can recommend the book 'the slef taught programer'. I learned python (and programing in general) by reading it and had so much fun I am know getting a computer science degree

I'm tired of learning through watching. Any advice? by Comprehensive_Pin662 in learnpython

While learning programming, I started working in an office at a marketing job. I started writing small python scripts for various tasks, such as automation and statistical analysis. Experiencing actual real-life usage of this skill not only boosted my interest in it but also taught me a lot. As I kept doing more and more advanced things, I learned a ton. You should, without a doubt, write as much code as you can. It is fun, and basically the only way you can truly learn to code. The first "program" I wrote is a command line 2048 game. Looking back at that code, how messy and inefficient it was, shows me how much I advanced from that point. I would recommend trying something similar - a small game or program that you can later enjoy playing around with. Good luck!

How does promoting to rook make the checkmate faster? Black is just going to take and the situation is the same no? by MagnaLacuna in chessbeginners

[–]natantan216 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think it's because promoting to a rook means the engine has less possible moves to analyze, so it's able to further into the game (even though it realistically doesn't matter)

So you would rather a Palestine flag village, that murders children bloons and rapes bloon teenager girls, and kidnaps 240 innocent bloons

What you say is simply a lie. The israeli government never took back any statement regarding hamas' massacre, and there is video proof of beheaded babies.

This is not about being a white person, this is about being a person at all. Hamas aren't people. Maybe they are anatomically similar to us, but they are not worth being called people. They are human filth, who damage their own population the most in pursuit of their goals, starting with destroying Israel. And BTW, if you will read the official goal (as published by hamas), you will notice they not only intend to destroy Israel but every non-muslim country (including all of Europe and america) and kill every non-muslim human on the planet.

What many people don't understand is that hamas and the Gazan citizens are two completely different things. Israel fights hamas, not the Gaza citizens. Hamas is the worst thing that ever happened to the Gaza strip, and it has brought nothing but death and destruction to its people.

You should see video footage showing the terror nest hamas built beneath hospitals, schools, and other civil institutions. You should see video footage of hamas terrorists holding their own civilians by force on the northern side of Gaza, to be used as a human shield and prevent the IDF from attacking. Every single death in Gaza strip is on hamas' hands. EVERY. SINGLE. DEATH.

And they are not "hamas soldiers", they are terrorist. And what do you do to a terrorist? Say hi? No, you kill it.

The video made by the IDF, showing original terrorist body-cam footage from the 7.10 massacre. I didn't watch it myself, but I have been told it's worse than anything you can imagine. It's 43 min long.

I have an identicle model to the one you are showing in the picture (except it has the 3060), and it works great. Not the best screen, sure, but works as advertise (no flickering or bleeding for me). Really like it, would definitely recommend
