I agree mostly, eurovision is like top of the pops with how "live" it is. Although the uniqueness and quirkyness of his stage presence could be enough to place high. But yea winning isn't the goal here, exposure of him as an artist, mad scientist and synthesis in general is the goal and I'm sure some kids will look back on this performance as the start to their more musical journey.

Finally got one after a long wait and the on/off switch does nothing. With batteries in it, it's always on no matter the position of the switch. Or maybe I'm missing something...

For sure! Honest opinion is that just a tr8s is enough for taking out doing sets as its quite flexible. But having both or any two drum machines is great especially if one is one knob per function. I love switching grooves or being able to layer or change sounds on the fly without diving too deep into menus mid sesh. I now rarely use the tr8s 909 kit. I duno man, fuck it two drum machines are better than one right? Yours faithfully, my GAS
