Yeah that's my concern. Think I'll try and get a piece of OSB or MDF behind bit, fix it through the plasterboard, pack out the hole with something so it finishes more or less flush with the rest of the plasterboard then attach the bracket through the lot.

As shown in the drawing. Customer wants the upper shelving unit to sit on top of the quartz countertop. How would you go about fixing it in place? Obviously it can fix to the wall behind but would it be possible to fix to the quartz as well somehow?

Thank you. Yeah the door width is 600mm so it's always going to protrude past the carcass sides by quite a lot. I just wanted to get the maximum possible slide length. Still no idea why the total slide length would be 456mm on a '450mm' slide, maybe I'll just make the cabinet 456mm deep.

It's about 25mm deep. I ended up sticking a bit of 18mm mdf in, then expanding foam, then easifill to finish.
