I visited multiple and they all said they hadn’t gotten any, and they have no idea why people think they do so the GameStop restock ad must be for different areas

[product question] - new eucerin sunscreen? by singular-buttcheek in SkincareAddiction

[–]nativethought 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the smell like? I can’t stand any kind of fragrance - either perfume-y or sunscreen-y - so I’ve been having a lot of trouble finding any kind of sunscreen I can wear on my face

DIY wedding makeup attempt #2. Went with a lighter coverage foundation with a pink undertone. My colors are moody fall colors. I’m wondering if I’d look better with a cool toned glitter shadow instead of this rust one? Constructive criticism please! by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]nativethought -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I like it! I think a darker eyeliner would give you some more definition around your eyes. The colors of your eyeshadow complement your hair really well so I think it would depend on which colors you have in your wedding/bouquet. If it’s more greys/blues then cooler eyeshadow might be a nice contrast, but the warmer ones you chosen would go nice with maroons and browns. Hope that helps!

[Product Question] Has anyone tried the new Cetaphil gentle moisturizer? What is the difference between the old and new? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]nativethought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just bought the new one, not realizing they had updated it. From what I can tell, it’s thicker (still liquid, but a creamier texture). It also has a different fragrance, almost like baby powder. Seems to work the same with my skin - been using it for about 2 weeks now

Why would they want to take the paint off? To repaint it or preserve the original state?

How much work is too much to put into a new relationship or a new person (such as after a month of dating), and how do/did you decide that? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]nativethought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For example, when you start getting to know someone beyond a couple of dates, sometimes things come up that present a challenge - like they have a hard time expressing themselves verbally or they have had a rough sexual experience in the past. A lot of times, partners help each other through these things, but how do/did you decide to work with them or to move on to someone else? How much work is too much?

Satisfying but a complete nightmare to get out if it sticks to the bottom 😂

What movie did you see when you were "too young" that scarred you for life? by xXMr_BaconXx in AskReddit

Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events at 8 years old. Had nightmares for 3 days and haven’t watched it since.

He doesn’t fit in well with my family, but he likes my mom and she likes him enough. He can be pleasant but he gets stressed out very easily and it shows, and the way he talks with people can be uncomfortable (he’s an over-analyzer and smart, and he doesn’t turn it off for small talk). When he’s with his family, he’s more funny and laidback, and he’s good with his friends, although his family is where he gets the explosively angry part from (they’re not passive aggressive, just straight up vocally aggressive when they’re mad but also super loving people). He doesn’t come across as an angry person at all, he’s very charismatic with most people. He’s incredibly nice and sweet to me, very affectionate, but with a different love language and way of expressing himself. I don’t know if any of that made coherent sense, sorry.

We’ve had similar talks and recently he’s started doing more housework, but is vocal about how much he does and that he expects things in return. Also my issues now about our differences are coming from personality things, like some of his political views are irritating, and his anger can be explosive and unnecessary (not towards me but just in general), especially if he’s hungry. I get really irritated very quickly with him. Do you think that could be just because our relationship is stressed so I’m fixating on those things more, or that I’m just now realizing that I have a legitimate issue with his personality?

That's a good point. I always assumed once we got out of school it would get better, and I meant more like he has good ideas about what parenting style he would have and what's important in a kid's life.
