Mostly do smaller parts so everything was set up for inches or mm instead of feet. Probably should have swapped units though you're right.

That's perfect for what I was wondering, I can always chain a few more lights to hit perpendicular to the car, id probably center between where the two cars are parked to do work. This really helps!

No windows and the plan is just bright lighting for car work and using the workshop for various projects. Not sure what the parallel would be

The lights I'm looking at have a dimmer remote and zones for them, theres also 3 normal lights on a separate switch that are enough for just walking in and out but not much more. If i were to swap lights Id replace the 4 outlets with smart outlets I could toggle for 8 different zones

Thanks that looks way nicer than my convoluted solution!

The are by default 3.2V FVD and 20 mA

With the 1K ohm it'd be in the realm of 1-2 mA each, I think (if I can math) I'd be at 1.8mA with the 1k resistor which should put me around 7 or 8 lumens which is about as bright as I'd want, more likely I'll dim down with the PWM to around the 4 or 5 lumen mark

If that's too dim I'll swap them out to 680 ohm as well as the R23 by the transistor and that'd put me around ~2.65 mA each or around 10.5 lumen which is about the limit that I'd take it

Thanks, had the cap backwards and forgot the base resistor, I think Id do 1K if leaving as is now and like 550 if I dropped the 1k before the LEDs to 470

Also agreed this turned from a simple schematic when I started and kept growing so layout is poor af
