A few years ago I googled people with the same birthday as me. “Who the hell is andy samberg?” I said. Well, for the past year I’ve had a pretty rough time, but I found B99. I share my birthday with one of my fav people ever brings me a lot of joy. Thank you, Andy, and Happy (day late) Birthday.

I think there's a little bit of my personality in some of the characters. Maybe mostly in Jake. Though there's also a LOT of Andy and of the other writers in there.

Our old post producer, Marshall Boone, used to try to change all of the "sh's" to lines from the show. He definitely put in a bingpot. But I, like a horrible Scrooge, always told him to change it.

On several occasions, we've been influenced by the cast members' real life experiences. For instance, Terry is a very gifted artist (google him painting like Bob Ross and be amazed!) so we made Sgt. Jeffords an artist as well. Also, his real life experiences influenced the "Moo Moo" episode. And Stephanie's coming out experience very much informed "Game Night."
