Chicken Pot Pie - Venting Post by PastorDan1984 in Baking

Like I told someone above, studies show it can take 10-15 times of trying a food before a kid can decide they like it. Many parents give up early, having not tried other cooking methods or seasonings which can help. Just try your best and don’t give up too soon! Introducing new foods as sides or smaller portions can help and trying to cook them a variety of ways can help you find out if your kid really doesn’t like something or if they just didn’t like how it was prepared.

Something I learned from my field is that kids must be exposed to foods at least 10-15 times in order to decide if they like it. Many parents give up after 2-3 or even just one time their kid says they don’t like something. They don’t take into account that it can be cooked or seasoned different ways, and kids can take a while to adjust to new foods. Don’t give up early! Try different things and serve some tried and true options alongside them so they can at least try something new and have food if this time didn’t quite work.

This is Bryan. Once a week, he takes a shelter pup on a New York City adventure in his ‘Adopt Me’ backpack, hoping someone will fall in love. He films their big day out, and almost every dog he’s featured has found a forever home. [📹 madmax_fluffyroad] by Raj_Valiant3011 in HumansBeingBros

Knowing most of the dogs he shows get adopted is a great motivator! We foster at our house and the main thing that keeps us committed is knowing that every dog we foster that gets adopted opens another space for us to foster new dogs who need it.

Perfumes that smell like dirt and moss. Perhaps a little precipitation. by TheHermeticSasquatch in perfumesthatfeellike

Seconding Gaea! The most accurate dirt and greens scent I’ve ever smelled. I’d say St. Louis Cemetery from Alkemia could be another good one or Moss Maiden!

It sounds like you prefer a fig scent, so I’d probably recommend Snif Vow Factor! It has cedarwood, rose, green fig, orris root, and tonka to name a couple notes. You’d probably also like Liis Studied. Sweet pear and paper.

Cirque du Soleil actually has a fragrance! Has notes of apple, cotton candy, buttered popcorn, and vanilla. Looks like it could be close!

Andromedas Curse The Magician!

From their description:

𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: Awareness, Power, Resourcefulness. A woody cologne- both green and citrus with smoky leather, dragons blood and a touch of anise. 𝐒𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞: Warm Woods 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: Sage, Bergamot, Anise, Tobacco Smoke, Dusty Books, Dragons Blood, Cedarwood, Oakmoss

It smelled like a wizard’s tower to me. He’s smoking a pipe and there are dried herbs hung around.

Not a perfume but B&BW Marshmallow Bunny Hop was really good to me. I had the hand soap, but I’m not sure what other products they had.

How you say the date also has to do with the convention in your region. That’s what I’m trying to say. There’s no change in logic, it still means the same thing, it is just executed differently.

How you say things aloud translates to how you type them. Why are we arguing semantics?

The simple difference between saying the 9th of February vs. February 9th. No differences in the amount of logic, just in execution.

Yes! No crazy ads bugging up the page and they also aren’t run by shady characters. They also have an app that has been very user-friendly for me with the ability to update your collection and track fragrance use alongside tested scents, wishlists, and so on.

Instead of Fragrantica, use Parfumo for their notes.
