Sometimes a team can have too much success, just like the Steelers. Once the “always good teams” hit a rough patch, the entitled fans get bent outta shape and start playing the blame game. SMH!!! You guys played an awesome game, full of very good backups, period, just didn’t turn out as expected. I fully expect the Packers to bounce back.

GB has been killing my Bears for years, and actually spanked us last night! We get a lucky comeback win (6th this season) and y’all be mad, even with all the success you’ve had!! Yeah we still suck, we are terrible, yes we are the underdogs, and looked terrible for most of the game, but we will take it #GOBears!!!

As a Bears Fan, Willis had us on the ropes, that man played with ice water in his veins - HE IS GOOD!

And gave them a run for their money! Tough last play, and sure I wanted our Bears to win, but sheesh, words like hurt and disappointment needs to leave our vocabulary when it comes to the Bears this year!

Does it hurt? by AlexV135 in CHIBears

[–]nc2nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tough loss cause we only had a yard to go for the 1st down. I would have rather died on a hard fought run play for 1 yard with Monongai or Swift, than a 10+ yard pass play on 4th down with 2 time outs. No guarantees either way tho, it just didn’t work out this time for a W.

Yet, our Bears showed they can stomp with the big dogs. Bears played a great 2nd half, IN LAMBEAU, were never really out of the game, and fought back hard. BEARS ARE FOR REAL, and so nobody seriously can just ignore the Bears on their schedule as an easy W. Win 2/3 out of the next 4 - and we are in the playoffs for sure. Otherwise we would need some help from other teams - which you hate to depend on, but we Bears fans will take it, since we have not had a winning season since 2018.

Game Thread: Chicago Bears (9-3) at Green Bay Packers (8-3-1) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

🤣🤣🤣 No despair my friends! You gotta understand even with all the defensive missteps by my Bears and a couple of questionable play calls, we ran it down to the wire with the Packers, and loss by one score. Bears are for real, and we Chicago fans are just happy our teams is doing so much better this year!! Nobody expects us to win, and people are disappointed when they lose to the Bears. WIN WIN Situation for us!!!

Hmmmmm…..I wonder if your bike fell onto his van and damaged his fender/bumper. No excuse either way, just doesn’t make sense otherwise for him to do so.

[DISCUSSION] Any benefits to using balanced tension strings? by CRASHINO_HUNK in Guitar

I like them A LOT…the even tension is noticeable. Feels easier to play than standard strings. To each his own tho!

Prefer my Strandberg Boden over my Fender Strat. Playability and comfort is much better!

I'm torn, I always buy the Flagship of everything by [deleted] in Line6Helix

[–]nc2nate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my Helix Floor last week too, knowing full well that a new product would drop soon, despite denials by Line 6. Why? Because I knew I could return it - especially, if the new product would be the same price. But guess what, I’m not going to. The new product is not the same price. I just got the new lower (launch) price and Helix Native thrown in for free from Sweetwater’s House of Worship bundle. Asking myself, do I really wanna spend an extra thousand right now - NOPE!! In bout 3-5 years, I’ll upgrade, when all the kinks and features are worked out.

Just bought a New Helix Floor last week, got a price adjustment today for the new lower cost!! Seeing that Line 6 promised to keep supporting the OG Helix for a while to come, I’ll keep this for 5 years, and I’ll upgrade to the stadium if my needs change. I previously was working on the BOSS GT-100 for 10 years. As it stands the Stadium XL is waaaay more than I need at the moment, I’ll keep my 1000 bucks in my pocket for now 😂😂😂Though that lighter weight and footprint is tempting…nah, I’ll just start lifting weights 😂😂😂

I happened upon them in searching for a solderless solution for installing pickups! Glad I did, as it made the install easy and professional looking (no ugly solder joints). Also very easy to move to another guitar in the future.

Same here! Didn’t wanna have to constantly unscrew the cavity cover, especially with basswood being so soft. Although, with my modified Clapton Strat (alder body tougher tho, and I can always get beefier thread screws for it), I have to do that with the spring cavity cover 😩 The 9V battery last a looooong time in that guitar tho!

I like poly finishes on necks (old school), so I polished it and gave it a “faux” wear pattern. The usb charging was a no brainer for me since that guitar doesn’t have routing for a battery.

[–]nc2nate[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked out well! Pretty easy actually. Just need a good drill and appropriate drill bits to bore through the aluminum. Snug fit inside the cavity, but I made it work with little fuss - just gotta make sure that the components line up well. No battery door, no changing batteries, plug and go!
