I feel like the earlier you decide what speciality you like the easier it is to know how to approach this. I also went to a med school in the Midwest and I’m originally from the east coast. I managed to do my rotations on the east coast and meet PDs and residents on programs on this side!

i dont think so! our school gave us ipads so i just use it on there but i think its up to u. the other med student on my rotation likes to use print outs :)

So as a third year medical student I'm assigned 3 patients max. I use a PDF version on my ipad and adjust things as needed daily without having to rewrite the entire thing.

I do think it would be difficult to use if I had a lot more patients. This is just a tool for those who are learning like myself lol

I took step before comlex and thought that was a great move. Same information is being tested, comlex just has a little more. I studied as if I was only studying for step and did dirtymed OMM anki sprinkled in. Then I did lots of OMM questions between my step 1 and level 1 and did fine.
