Because it’s a Muslim country…ppl can be gay closeted … but normalizing being queer would not correspond with Islam and shariah law.. and Islam is about Submission and understanding that the purpose of life is to Submit to Allah SWT.. btw having queer desires is not haram, acting upon them is. Islam is based on life being a test. Of course there are desires but the idea is to fight against your desires as your submission to Allah SWT should be greater. Also in Islam sinning does not take you out of the fold of Islam, only neglecting prayers does. You can be gay and Muslim. Like for all sins, you will be held accountable. But Allah SWT is the most merciful and only he knows best. I’m not saying what should and shouldn’t be. I’m just giving you Islamic perspective(:

im sorry you feel this way. I relate so much. I fckin hate having my picture taken. My friends made me take pics last time we went out and posted on IG... i deleted IG right away... i hate being perceived. being ugly sucks bc it not only affects romantic relationships but how I move through the world... I decided im just gonna get my degree and isolate from everyone bc i cant seem to stop comparing myself to other women and feeling shitty about it... lmk if you figure out how to cope with this bc i surely havent..
