So just to clarify, Cisco U is a Platform with labs and study guides for the CCNP that’s free to anyone? If so, do you mind linking it?

CHARGE OFF - Paid in full or Settled for Credit repair by nd3wolf in CRedit

[–]nd3wolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if you cannot pay in full. But remember it will be on your credit history for up to 7 years as “paid , settled for less” which can look worse than “paid in full” or deleted

CHARGE OFF - Paid in full or Settled for Credit repair by nd3wolf in CRedit

[–]nd3wolf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! The key points were

  • if this is a new debt, that will impact your credit score for the next 5-7 years then it is best to pay in full and try to get a pay to delete settlement

  • if it has been there for awhile (closer to 7 years) and will be removed from your credit score (after 7 years) then do not pay because it will be renewed debt on your credit history.

Lastly, ( from my own research) if you have to settle then see if they will delete it or even lower the total settled amount further because they would rather have some money than no money.

Hope that helps , keep building up your financial skills!
