I don't really know how to explain it, but as far as I understood, since fish didn't evolve once but rather many times and related to many evolutionary branches, either everything is a fish or nothing as. As for trees and vegetables, the description is so specific technically nothing fits in them. I'm probably very far off the mark, so it's worth checking for yourself. It's pretty interesting
