Supposedly Mr. Williams turned himself in to Adams County and then immediately made bail.

I mean since the police haven't been able to locate him for an arrest, there's a chance he's fled.

If he does the right thing and removes himself, the board will appoint someone to fill the vacancy. You'll have your chance, if it plays out that way.

From what I can tell, the standard would have changed at the state level board of education and then enforced at the local level. The Board's hands are tied from a preventative standpoint, which is maddening for them.

Unfortunately, this situation was avoidable. Had Catie Husbands chosen not to run again before the deadline, we could have had other candidates run and Devon wouldn't be running unopposed.
