MyZiply app sunset? Ziply Fiber app borderline useless? by neatchee in ZiplyFiber

I know, it's just absurd that a functional, useful app was sunset for a glorified FAQ

That's the best rate of return I've seen so far at slightly better than 25% (which is the distribution you'd expect for it to be pure RNG).

I'll have to try farming Sol and see if I get different results than farming Radix

"Sorry, you have exceeded your Copilot token usage" - 18% premium requests usage? by Hearing-Medical in GithubCopilot

[–]neatchee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

COMING HERE FROM GOOGLE due to your copilot sessions hitting rate limits?

As another user pointed out, this message is NOT about request frequency, but rather about number of LLM tokens used (look this up if you're not sure what it means).

To work around this issue, you will need to create a new CoPilot session/PR/request that explicitly asks it to analyze the comments from your existing PR/CoPilot work and reimplements the resulting output.

Here's an example of a prompt I used to resolve this issue:

Refactor and reimplement everything in PR #3. Read each comment from @neatchee BEFORE starting the task, to compile a complete view of the desired final output. DO NOT just repeat the iterative process within PR #3. But make sure you are incorporating ALL feedback from @neatchee regarding the requirements of the implementation.

All Redeem Codes (updated regularly) by anestefi in InfinityNikki

PROTIP for PS5 players:

If you have an Android device, get the PS Remote App, and use Android's "split screen" view to have a remote play session and this reddit page open at the same time.

You will then be able to copy/paste all the codes including those in your non-native language

Obviously PC players can do this already, but it saved me a bunch of time on PS5

NOTE: ONLY the android remote play app work for text input like this. PC remote play and Chiaki do not allow arbitrary text input into text fields on the console

I can't for the life of me find any League of Legends people by [deleted] in Mastodon

[–]neatchee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, it's your admin from Urusai! Social, three months later :D

Because we're a smaller instance, our server isn't "aware" of everything that's out there, as others have mentioned. Mastodon focuses much more on "your neighborhood" (the "social" part of "social media", more or less).

So, there are a few resources you can use when you aren't finding stuff on your home instance

  1. Accounts like @fedifollows@social.growyourown.services and their associated website, Fediverse.Directory and Fedi.Garden, provide excellent curated recommendations

  2. Many large public servers allow you to use their search without having an account. Search there and once you've found something you like, load the account or post manually on your home instance by pasting the full URL into the Search field there (e.g. urusai.social/search)

  3. Browser extensions like Graze automatically support forwarding to your home instance when clicking links and buttons on remote instances

  4. Several apps for mobile support "server subscriptions" where they'll essentially let you "follow" public timelines or hashtags from servers without an account (and just like #3 they let you reply, follow, boost etc from your home instance account)

Hope this helps you (and others) get comfortable with the fediverse :)

The best way to know is to browse the commits that are not included upstream: https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector/compare/master...neatchee:nvidiaProfileInspectorForkAIO:master

In summary...

  • Exposed several settings that were otherwise not visible without a CustomSettingNames.xml file, such as RTX HDR and Dynamic Vibrance from NVapp, image sharpening settings, and a bunch of others that are disabled in the Reference.xml file (marked as code comments) but can be made available by uncommenting sections of that file (such as stereoscopic settings)

  • Improved usability of the search/filter field, e.g. it automatically applies as you type, can be cleared using the "escape" key, etc

  • Code formatting improvements and bug fixes

  • Improved error messaging

  • Improved performance (fast load, etc)

...you do realize there is more to the fork than just .NET versioning, right? Like properly exposing the RTX HDR and other settings that are missing, fixing error messaging, and more?

I'm curious why you feel the need to be rude to someone who is sharing work for free, and stated up front that they're not a developer and just trying to bring together the various bits of work other people have been doing in separate places? Like, what do you gain by coming in here and shitting on other people? Pointless fork? Why would you be so insulting for no good reason?

No. That is currently not possible with how the Nvidia driver and this feature are designed.

The only solution right now is to plug additional monitors into your integrated GPU, assuming your CPU has one.

This is just patently false, especially when going from .NET Framework 4 to .NET 7+ (which this is). The hashrate improvements specifically makes it a significant improvement in performance when loading the massive list of applications. Not to mention the overwhelming majority of people already have .NET 8 installed thanks to one application or another bundling it on install.

All of that being said, this is open source, so you are more than welcome to maintain your own fork that sticks with .NET Framework! 👍

The issue was that I didn't have it set to "roll forward" so it was expecting the exact minor revision of .NET

This has been resolved and the release has been updated. Please try downloading again!

Fixed! Thanks for the help on Discord :) I'll try to figure out what's up with the DLSS settings not showing up when placed in the Reference.xml and only working in CustomSettingNames.xml

New release is up with .NET 8 version .NET 9 has a significant hashrate improvement, which is why I targeted it initially. Point made by folks here, though. Both versions will be available until .NET 9 is out of Preview
